The Mark Hughes Foundation are excited to announce that we’ve once again teamed up with Adam MacDougall and his Man Challenge with an aim to raise much needed funds towards research into brain cancer. His hugely successful Man Challenge is an online exercise and food program for blokes.
Since the Mark Hughes Foundation was launched MacDougall and his wife Belinda have been the biggest single contributor donating hundreds of thousands of dollars every year and will be back at this year kicking off this Monday with the latest round of The Man Challenge.
MacDougall and Hughes, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013, are long-time friends and were team-mates in the Newcastle Knights NRL premiership victories in 1997 and 2001. “It’s a privilege and honour to give back to such a special cause involving my mate Mark,” said Adam MacDougall today. “We stood side by side on the football field for many seasons and now we’re doing it together on the battlefield of life”.
Mark Hughes, whose foundation funds research, heightens awareness and supports brain cancer patients and their families, said his former team-mate’s offer to assist the Mark Hughes Foundation was “an incredible gesture from someone who really cares a lot about other people’’.
“Since my diagnosis, Adam and his wife Belinda have been right behind me the whole way offering wonderful support to my family and me,” Mark Hughes added. “With this latest partnership with The Man Challenge, Adam has taken his support to a whole new level”.
The next round of The Man Challenge (www.themanchallenge.com.au) will launch this Monday 24th June 2019.
Adam MacDougall is managed exclusively by The Fordham Company.
