Scott Tweedie

Scott Tweedie is an accomplished Broadcaster, Host and Musician, dividing his time between Los Angeles and Australia. He is best known as the host of Australian Idol on the Seven Network and has made a significant impact in both the Australian and US markets, hosting various programs for ABC, Channel 10, NBC Universal and E! Entertainment.

A proud Queenslander, Scott's career began with the ABC youth series Prank Patrol, where his charisma and easygoing style made him an instant household name. He then went on to host several other shows, including The Loop on Network Ten, which he fronted for over 400 episodes. Scott has also hosted Movie Juice, Studio 10, Dancing with the Stars, and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, among others.

Away from his broadcasting career, Scott has made a name for himself in the music space. He has been performing to packed crowds across Australia with his sold out Release the Party DJ events, selling out venues in under an hour. His passion for music has recently earned him the title of Amex’s Entertainment and Music Ambassador, further solidifying his place in the entertainment industry.

With a standout social media presence, Scott has cultivated a large following with 329.1k followers on TikTok and 96.4k on Instagram, where he shares his love for music, fitness, and travel. He has also collaborated with TikTok Australia to host the premiere of Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis on the platform and regularly hosts film premieres with Universal Music, including The Fall Guy and Wicked.

In 2022, Scott made a highly anticipated return to Australian television as co-host of the relaunch of Australian Idol. After an incredibly well-received first season, he is set to reprise his role for Season 2 in 2025, with future seasons already in the works.
